Megan (Meg) Adams, PhD, is founder and CEO of Homeplace Creative. Upon receiving her PhD in Rhetoric & Writing from Bowling Green State University with an emphasis in digital storytelling, Dr. Adams founded Homeplace Creative as a media production company devoted to helping organizations tell impactful stories across media platforms. Dr. Adams works with our team and clients to create research-backed, strategic communication plans aimed to move audiences to action and produce media content. Her own stories have appeared in news outlets and peer-reviewed academic journals in rhetoric and writing. KYLE ADAMS
Chief Operating Officer
Before joining the team at Homeplace, Kyle worked as a television journalist and meteorologist for over a decade. During his time in television, he won numerous awards from the Associated Press including: best anchor, best documentary series, and best weather operation. He brings a wealth of knowledge about storytelling, media production, and on-air camera techniques to the team. Kyle has also taught digital storytelling at the university-level and earned a masters degree in Rhetoric and Writing in 2020. Dave De Rurange
Storytelling Consultant
With a decade of television journalism experience, Dave is thrilled to bring his aim-for-the-heart storytelling to Homeplace clients. Holding a microphone in one hand and a camera in the other, he’s used to producing professional, memorable content quickly and naturally. His visual focus is originality and the Associated Press recognized this - awarding Dave first place for enterprise reporting. Adding to his multimedia journalism abilities, Dave enjoys crafting strategic, data-driven plans with business leaders. He has an MBA from Southern Oregon University with a concentration in online marketing, a bachelor’s in communications from Brigham Young University, and an accreditation in public relations (APR) by the Public Relations Society of America.
